Pastor Steve

Steve McIntyre

Senior Pastor

Rev. Steven T. McIntyre has been serving as the lead Pastor at Bethany Church of Franklin since 2003. He received his education from Eugene Bible College graduating with a Bachelor of Science in 1992 then proceeding on to graduate from Luther Rice Seminary in 2005 with his Master of Divinity. He was born and raised in a Christian family in the local community. He is the grandson of the long time Bethany Church Pastor A.C. McIntyre, who served from 1955 to 1973.

Early in his ministry he served as a youth pastor at two different churches in the state of Washington. From 1992-1995 he began his youth ministry at South Everett Christian Center in Everett, WA.  He also served as the children’s camp director for Western Washington for one of those years. Then from 1995-1996 he continued youth ministry at Country Church of the Open Bible in Elk, WA. Then God led him to Allegany, New York, where he pastored at Allegany Full Gospel Church from 1996-2003. While there, he established a long term Basketball Ministry for the local community and served as the Northern Section Leader for the Allegheny District in Open Bible Churches.

Today, Pastor Steve continues his God given passion to preach in his local community as he works as a regular rural letter carrier for USPS. Here at Bethany Church he has established a tithe on the churches general giving to go to missions, hosts community board game nights, and has an ongoing Christian Book Club, open to the community, where books are discussed on a by-monthly basis.

When Pastor Steve is not working or preaching, you will find him spending time with his wife, Rebecca McIntyre, and his four children, some of which are grown and have given him two grandkids.  His hobbies include, refereeing football and basketball, playing board games, and reading Christian Fiction.

Deanna Alldridge

Secretary

Deanna grew up knowing the Lord and accepting Jesus as her personal Savior as a child. As she grew a bit older, she realized that Christ needed to be first in her life, so she recommitted her life to Christ at age 15. A key verse that was a source of encouragement to her was Nehemiah 8:10(b), “…the joy of the Lord is my strength.” She carried this verse throughout her lifetime. She is married to Russell and together they have 7 kids. When she is not working at the church you will see Deanna tutoring kids, gardening, spending time with her family and friends, plus her two furry family members.
